Hello, my name is Jessica Dean. I’m the founder and director of We Start Now.

I’m a communications specialist and content maker with a multi-disciplinary practice working across a range of mediums including writing, visuals, and sound.

I’m passionate about helping businesses, organisations and individuals connect and engage with their communities by sharing stories, information, inspiration, and ideas.

My approach is always collaborative, open, adaptable, and responsive. I work closely with clients to scope their projects, understand their needs, and achieve their strategic aims and goals.

My clients include government, not-for-profit and disability organisations, the higher education sector, creative businesses, and artists.

I have spoken at the Maribyrnong Literary Festival, Open Studios Festival, Colour Box Studios Multimedia Festival and lectured at Victoria University. I’m the creator of West Art Now, which featured stories about artists and creatives from Melbourne’s west.
